Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy is a very dangerous type of child abuse. It is where the caregiver (usually the mother) states that their child has a life threatening disease so they can get medicine and unnecessary surgeries for their child.

The article about Hope Ybarra is crazy. She made up a lie that she had cancer again for the third time and then she said that her daughter had cerebral palsy. Her daughter, being at a very young age, underwent surgery and medical care that could have killed her.

I think she did this because she wanted attention. In the article she sated that she "watched" her mom do this, and her mom denied it. She claimed she was pregnant with twins, her husband had doubts but always believed her. When she got caught, she believed she did nothing wrong. Her children were severley abused with all of the unneccesary treatment. They will never get their childhood back. Her husband later divorced her while she is in prison. Her release date will be in October of 2019.

Reflect on Respect

A healthy relationship is a good relationship. In a healthy relationship both partners respect each other, have boundaries, they are both positive, and there is trust between both partners.

If I were in an unhealthy relationship I would try and end things the best way I could. I would try and let them down easy. If the realtionship became abusive I would contact local authorities, and explain to them what was going on so I could leave. If one of my friends were in an unhealthy relationship I would try and be there for her as best as I could and I wouldnt let her see the ex-Ppartner in the breakup. If she went to go see him I would be there with her because it is not safe.

Why: James has been calling Angela horrible names. He called her fat and ugly. And he was starting to become abusive.

• Meet by yourself

• meet in a public place during the day. 
• always remember it is never your fault
